Margaret A. Hale
Advises owners on the purchase and sale of closely held companies and on the family arrangements that sit beside those deals.
Margaret Hale joined Crown Hill in 2001 and became managing partner in 2016. She works from Charleston. Her practice is the overlap between a company and the people who own it: the sale, the shareholder agreement, and the succession documents that have to agree with each other.
Before joining the firm she practiced with a Charleston business firm and clerked for a South Carolina circuit judge. Clients are typically families with an operating company and property in one or both of the states where Crown Hill has offices.
